Elegant atmosphere at Casimir's Lounge
This is the most elegant and chic bar I have ever been to. Casimir’s Lounge is located in the famous Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah. This historic mansion was built in 1888 and has been transformed into a very upscale and eclectic hotel. When you walk in you can find opulent and rich decor everywhere which is certainly not to everyone’s taste but it does somehow fit into this old mansion. Everything from the lobby to the walls through to the furniture is classy and opulent in this historic building. In Casimir’s Lounge you can enjoy some of the finest Whiskeys and Cognacs, try some expensive wines, or taste new martini variations. When I was there, a piano player in the left corner played some relaxing, classy music which added to the elegant atmosphere of the bar. Casimir’s rooftop terrace offers outside seating where you can totally relax and enjoy the nice view of Forsyth Park. This bar is perfect if you would like to enjoy top-quality drinks, in a chic and luxurious atmosphere while listening to some wonderful blues and jazz music. I have been there after dinner with some of my colleagues and enjoyed some great drinks. I can definitely recommend their famous raspberry martini! When I was there all martinis on the menu cost eight Dollars, which is not a lot considering you are in one of the most elegant and upscale bars in Savannah.
