Ja Ja Ja, Jaeger's
Two thumbs up - fine holiday fun was Jaeger's - so much so, that we returned for a second night. Hostels are always a bit hit and miss, and I must admit I was a little concerned when we found that Jaeger's was situated on the 'hostel strip' in Munich. But this worked out to our advantage. Jaeger's was a little quieter than the neighbouring hostel, and so we did some partying there, and then returned to our own quieter bunks to catch a few hours shut eye. The first night we stayed in a smaller dorm, which had a cleaner, better bathroom than the large underground dorm we stayed in on the second night. But to be honest, if I returned I'd probably opt for the quieter downstairs, cheaper option. The bar upstairs was ok, but there are plenty of better places to get a beer in Munich. Location-wise it really is just across the road from the Hauptbahhof. If you're driving though, there aren't too many options for parking, so I'd maybe suggest somewhere less central.
