Mariachi FestivalI've heard of this for a couple of years and my schedule just doesn't work out to get there. The festival is basically a workshop for about 1000 students of mariachi and folklorico dance. For two days, there's just workshops, but almost every restaurant or bar has some performance going on at night. Then there are scheduled performanced at places like Reid Park and St. Augustine's Cathedral. I think it would be a fabulous place for photography and a complete immersion in the into Mexican culture. [more] |
