Park Place Inn, Jasper, Alberta, Second Best Hotel in Town
I have never stayed at the Park Place Inn in Jasper, but I did live in the town of Jasper and work in the accommodation industry there. Everyone said that the Park Place Inn was a jewel in Jasper and I went there one night and pretended to be a potential guest who wanted to see a room first. The front desk agent was very professional, polite, and accommodating of my request which is a lot more than you can hope for from the 'middle of the road' hotels in Jasper. The rooms that I saw were all very well appointed and, as far as I have seen, The Park Place Inn is the best hotel in town after the Jasper Park Lodge. One thing to definitely keep in mind with the Park Place Inn is that it is a small, boutique type hotel. There are not a lot of rooms, so be sure to book well in advance if you can. Even though the hotel is 'downtown' in Jasper, that will not mean a lot for noise, because the downtown core shuts down pretty early most nights of the year. [more] |
