As the capital of Arts in Indonesia, Yogjakarta is famous for its multiple forms of arts and culture, such as the shadow puppets and batik. Along Jalan Malioboro, you can find endless rows of stalls selling arts and craft, puppet masks and batik cloths and bags. Bustling with life especially when night falls, the street teems with energy and is the best spot to haggle and bag some local souvenirs home. Genuine arts and craft stores also line the streets, providing an assortment of genuinely produced pieces for sale.
