Hotel Post - Charming yet modern private hotel
Hotel Post is a charming, private hotel right in the centre of Aschaffenburg conveniently located in walking distance to the historic city centre. The hotel is in a perfect location just a few minutes away from the motorway A3, and only about 45 minutes away from the airport and exhibition centre in Frankfurt. I stayed there while being on a business trip and I was amazed by this modern hotel that has kept its charm and comfortable atmosphere. My check-in was quick and the friendly staff told me everything I needed to know from breakfast times to all of the hotel's amenities. My room was spacious with a comfortable bed and clean, modern bathroom. The room was equipped with a desk, chair, TV, mini bar, long mirror and a big closet. As I was in Aschaffenburg for business, I really appreciated the free, wireless LAN internet access which I think is essential now in all hotels. After a stressful day you can even relax in the hotel's swimming pool and sauna downstairs. The breakfast can be ordered à la carte or you can enjoy the extensive breakfast buffet which offers everything from scrambled eggs and bacon, to fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurts and of course the traditional German bread roll with jam or a selection of cheeses and meats. In the evening, you can enjoy some great food in the lovely decorated restaurant Goldmund on the ground floor. This hotel is all a traveller could ask for in accommodations. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location of the hotel is great.
