There is a very typical English pub feel to GramPi’s. You will find many of the other English tourists, sipping an ale in here and if you have your laptop you can take advantage of the free internet access. This pub is situated under GramPi’s restaurant (an Italian joint), and is only a couple of hundred metres from the train station, up the main street. [more] |

Satisfy a grown man
While Grampis didn’t have the best food in Zermatt, it was at the affordable end of the spectrum. The menu also has a wide range of Italian food and there is an extensive wine list. The restaurant was almost full every night I was in town. The best thing, after a hard day skiing or trekking, is that the portions are very big, and I saw many grown men taking their leftovers home in a box. [more] |
