A Jewel: Highgate House's Terrace Restaurant
Probably the main dining establishment at Highgate House, the Terrace Restaurant offers a fine dining experience. The restaurant is situated in the main house but its architectural design is very modern and with a mostly-glass ceiling situated over the main seating area. There is also an outdoor dining area for those wishing to take in the morning, afternoon, or evening sun.
For breakfast, the Terrace served up a classic British fare with sausages, ham, made-to-order eggs, baked beans, and fried tomatoes. In addition, the Terrace provides a nice selection of breakfast pastries, fruit, and cereals. The atmosphere was very relaxed, and I felt as if I were the lady of the manor. I was not rushed but was actually encouraged to relax and take my time dining and enjoying the experience!
While I have not experienced dinner at The Terrace, I can only suspect that the same quality food and service would exist; I am eager to return! I highly recommend the establishment! [more]
