The Ginger Factory
You can visit this biggest ginger factory in the world for free and every day of the week from 9am to 5pm. Situated in Yandina in the hinterland of Sunshine Coast it is only 90 minutes drive north from Brisbane and 30 minutes inland from Noosa Heads. The attraction complex is partly outdoors where the Ginger Train travels around the subtropical rainforest, fountains and few souvenir shops. Various ginger products from beer to ice-cream, honey, cookies and chocolate are all available in the premises as well as delicious tasting samples.
