Munyonyo Resort: The Ultimate VIP Travel Nest
Despite being an inland country, Uganda is not short of lovely places offering leisurely beach experience and as I came to discover, the Munyonyo Resort is one such place. Associated with the famous and mighty people who visit Uganda right from political leaders, business moguls, fashion and sports icons, the beachside resort is located on the shores of Lake Victoria. The magnificent resort is however quite expensive given its target for high-end guests. The rooms are spectacularly furnished and equipped with ultra-modern communication facilities. Meals consisting of international menu and wine varieties are served from the hotel’s numerous restaurant and bars, although guests can request beachside service or room service. Swimming within the hotel’s swimming pool, game drives to the nearby national parks and trips to islands in Lake Victoria are some of the fun activities offered at the Munyonyo Resort.
