Vacations in the midst of Dunes at the Tana Delta Lodge
The Kenyan Coast is always full of surprises for locals and tourists alike and my visit to the Tana Delta was no less a surprise! This is the one place where the mission and values of the hospitality business are epitomized by unrivalled standards of leisure and luxury. The natural geographical features surrounding the Tana Delta Lodge are also a wonder to marvel at. The lodge is located within the spectacular delta dunes formed by the Tana River as it enters the Indian Ocean. Meals consisting of seafood cuisine and wide ranging brands of wines, beers, spirits and other beverage drinks are served from the lodge’s main restaurant. The lodge is particularly famous for the wide range of unique wilderness adventures that are offered to guests. Fun activities at the lodge include game viewing, with hippos, elephants and crocodiles being the main highlights. The beach also offers lots of fun although they are usually deserted during the weekdays. The Tana Delta Lodge only has very few rooms and advance reservation is mandatory. [more] |
