KZN Sharks Board
Very educational and a once in a lifetime experience. The Sharks Board of Umhlanga is a fascinating visit for all ages as it shows all aspects of the sharks life. One can book to even see a disection of a shark if you have a strong stomach (these are only sharks that have been found dead - no harm is inflicted). They also have a full walk through museum about the shark, TV screens to learn more and interactive activites to test your knowledge. At the end of the tour is an amazing shop where you can buy all sorts of memoirs and even sharks teeth, a great keepsake. Never in my life have a learnt so much in one place and realised how many sharks are really out there in the open waters. Go there, visit, and learn something new! [more] |
