Spend A Day At The Beach In The D.T. Fleming Park
D.T. Fleming Park fronting Honokahua Bay on the island of Maui is a secluded park just a little over 3 acres. This beachfront park has a paved parking lot, picnic tables, a playground, restrooms, a lifeguard and a swimming or surfing beach. A wheelchair accessible ramp provides access to the beach. The ocean currents can be pretty strong here so mind the warnings when they're posted. There's an outdoor shower for use after you've been swimming or surfing. Bring a picnic or some steaks or fish to grill. There are about six grills scattered throughout the picnic area. This is a nice area for the whole family to chill out. [more] |
