Getting to Denpasar airport from Kuta
Denpasar airport is located only 4 kilometers away from Kuta, but it still can be very expensive to get there. Many travel agencies provide shuttle bus for 50 000 Rupiah per person, which is totally overpriced, regarding very short distance. Metered taxis are slightly cheaper. If you are alone and don’t have too much luggage, you can take a motorbike taxi, the usual price would be 15 000-20 000 Rupiah. If you start walking along the main road from Kuta to the airport, you can also get a ride for as low as 10 000 Rupiah, what I did. And it is also possible to walk directly to the airport, if you don’t mind. It would take you around 30 to 45 minutes to walk there from Kuta Beach. [more] |
