Tay Ho (West Lake) Pagoda. Tay Ho Pagoda is located on a peninsula that juts out into West Lake (Tay Ho). It is dedicated to the mother goddess Thanh Mau who, according to legend, appeared to fishermen on the lake as a beautiful girl reading poetry. She disappeared without revealing her identity, and when the fishermen later learned who she was, they built the pagoda in her honor.
