Manastirea Sambata de Sus
The Upper Saturday Monastery/Manastirea Sambata de Sus is pretty far from Brasov. But you should make the effort to see it. The interior was preserved since 1654 and the exterior sculptures are breathtaking. In the back of the monastery, there is a beautiful lake and the entire garden is full of flowers. You can stay in one of the cells for as long as you want. You can get there by car or by bus. There is no direct train.
