When anyone thinks about traveling around South America, they think CHEAP but one of the first surprises travelers run into it’s the price of tours and air transportation in the region, sometimes with prices comparable to those in Europe or USA. South America hasn’t developed a large “discount travel” philosophy quite yet and finding a good air fare or a good tour deal can be harder than it sounds.
