If you can time it right, try and be in Hobart on a Saturday. This is when the Salamanca markets come to life. From 8.30pm - 3pm every week on Salamanca Place by the harbour.

The price of internet seemd to vary immensly in Hobart. At City Central Backpackers it was a massive $12 an hour compared to most of the internet cafes which charge $7.

Nelson Falls are in my opinion the nicest falls in that area. They are passed Queenstown just inside Cradle Mountain National Park.
