Eze – beauty on the French Riviera!
I travelled to the French Riviera in September 07 for a long weekend and whilst cruising along the coastal path on the back of a moped, stumbled across the very beautiful medieval village of Eze. Located between Nice and Monaco, Eze village is perched high over the Mediterranean. You can visit the 12th century fortified castle ruins and the narrow streets wind up past a multitude of craft and souvenir shops and eventually reach the exotic gardens. The panoramic views from the top are truly breathtaking. Lunch can be taken alfresco in the most perfect setting in the hub of the village.
