Devin Castle
A few kilometers west of Bratislava is an old castle errected by the Romans. After several wars it´s a ruin now. It´s placed in a nice sourrounding on a hill. You have a nice view over the Danube and Austria on the other side of the river. There is a museum in the castle and a few restaurants on the foot of the hill. You can take bus no. 29 to the castle which starts in Bratislava under the bridge crossing the Danube. [more] |
