The Exmouth Arms
Bath Road in Cheltenham, is unique in the fact that it is so near the town centre, yet it has an identity all of it's own. This is illustrated by the fact that it has it's own selection of pubs that seem to have survived, despite everywhere else suffering from the loss of so many pubs. The Exmouth Arms is an excellent example of this. I remember visiting 'The Exmouth “ as a young woman, it was quite different then – it was popular, but it needed some TLC. My re-visit was a pleasant surprise, The Exmouth has moved with the times and has had a modern makeover which really suits it.
