Daugavpils Fortress
The fortress is probably one of the biggest I saw in Latvia, and as all Latvian Fortress it says to be the biggest and oldest untouched medieval structure in all Latvia and even perhaps in all Eastern Europe. The untouched part I can believe, since the fortress is almost falling apart, well to be honest, it is not almost falling apart but literally falling apart, you can see the proof on the floor next to the fortress, it is full of loose bricks, so do not get to close to it. Inside the fortress there are houses, and people living there, the place is not that bad looking and it is quite interesting.
