A great surprise close to Milan
Como is a lovely small city in the north of Italy. Famous for its lake (Lago di Como), the city is a fantastic option for a day out if you’re close to Milan. Taking the train from the Central Station, you will not take much more than 30 minutes to get there. Once getting there, a walk from the train station to the lake is recommended. When you get to the lake, a good option is to take a boat tour around the lake, visiting the other smaller villages around. Remember to have you camera ready because the view is fantastic.
