Daugavpils city centre
The city centre was a lovely thing to see, since Daugavpils is bigger than the towns we had recently visited, the city centre was a lot more organized. Streets were well done as well as the city planning. Some of the buildings seemed to e very important not too long ago. The city centre counts with public transportation that seemed pretty efficient, although we didn’t use it because we prefer to walk. As I just said; the city seems newer than the old towns with castles and forts, this one looks as a more Communist city, with beautiful government buildings and gray streets. I fully recommend the city if you want to see another big city apart from Riga. [more] |
