ME&TA Riding and Equitation Centre
This is a lovely riding centre located off the MU603 Mazzarón to El Palmar road, although you can also reach it from the A7 motorway at Librilla. The complex is just outside Casas Nuevas, the actual place is La Costera de Alhama. We had a lesson here, and you can also ride out or hack in a group. They offer therapy riding for the disabled, which says something about the temperament and quality of the horses. I think the lessons are in the evenings from 5.30pm through the week, and in the morning at weekends. You can pick up a leaflet in most tourist boards around here to check.
