We got jobs!!18.1
Finally, I had almost given up by now and ready to move to Brisbane to look for a job in the city. Although I had said I really don't wanna be in a city. Luckily this morning I decided to give one more call to National Harvest Trail hotline which I've been pesting with my calls every day now. And Bingo! Some farmer had just been asking after for Finnish workers the day before and they hadn't had any Finnish applicants for ages before I called this morning. Must be the law of the attraction here. On Monday at 7:15am we will start fruit picking and packing on a farm in Stanthorpe. Yay, feel much better now after few days of desperation. [more] |
