Dömös National Park (Nemzeti Park)
If you love nature-walking to the woods, while you are at Domos or maybe nearby, you should go to their huge national park. I believe the national park in Domos doesn’t really have a name, local people just calls it as national park, but of course in Hungarian, which is Nemzeti Park. I have been there for only a couple of times, but whenever I was there, I would meet families (with little kids), elders, and surprisingly young people (when you would think many of young people won’t really be bothered with nature today). The park is dense and lovely. You will see signs of what kind of trees grow here and there and what kind of insects, amphibians, and animals you can find in certain areas.... [more] |
