Edinburgh Bus System

For a novice traveler on a budget, the Edinburgh bus system is the best way to travel the city. The buses run on time and are easily navigated. I became oriented with the bus system by boarding the first bus I saw. The price is reasonable and it is a great way to get familiar with the city. I would suggest riding the upper level of the bus and sit in the front row of seats. That is a great vantage point to pick out different points of interest you may want to visit later. They offer a variety of ticket options, including tickets good for the entire day or week. Off-peak tickets are cheaper, and make sure to bring your student identification for a discount! [more ]
