Eisenach
Eisenach is an old small town in Thuringia. Its main attraction is the castle of Wartburg high above the old town, but the town has also a very well preserved core with typical late-medieval German houses in one of which lived Martin Luther. The market square is a bright place with the market church in the middle and all these nice houses around and the other castle of the town from the Northern side. Eisenach is also the place where Johann Sebastian Bach was born and its birth house is well preserved and turned into a museum. [more] |
