Enns is a nice small town at the confluence of the rivers Enns and Danube. However, the old town is on a hill quite far away from the Danube. Enns has a great main square with the town hall and the city tower, but there are also many other things around that should be visited – the castle with its great courtyard and small garden and the parish church in the late gothic style. If you plan to visit Enns by train – be prepared, the way from the station to the center can be quite long – about 25 minutes and there are some stairs to be climbed.
