Fez Old Medina - UNESCO World Heritage
The Old Medina in Fez is UNESCO World Heritage for many reasons. When you walk around the narrow medieval streets, full of shops with artisans of old crafts – you have somehow this “travel in time” feeling! From old minarets and mosques, to madrasas and beautiful décor houses – the Medina is a world of surprises. One may think it is possible to find and buy everything there – due to the profusion of little shops and sellers. The tannery was impressive – for the incredibly bad smell, but also for its large extension and diversity of products.
