Trains from Beijing to Pyongyang
I´ll give here a bit more information about the train service between Beijing – Pyongyang in case you are trying to decide whether to fly or take the train. I travelled to North Korea with Koryo Tours which involved a flight to Pyongyand and the train back to Beijing. The journey takes about 24 hours but the 4 bed compartments are fairly comfortable and you can have a good sleep overnight. Each carriage has 2 western style toilets and a samovar for boiling water which is available for the whole trip.
