If you are planning on flying to Rome, Italy there are some things that you should be aware of when arriving at the airport. Much like the classic laid back Italian style, the Customs service at the airport in Rome is very unorganized. There is no set style for how they check you, it is all random. I flew to Rome one time with one of my friends and we got a first hand experience at how this works. We were getting off of the airplane and entering into the main airport when a police official walked up to us out of nowhere and asked to see our papers.
