Frankenthal
Frankenthal is a nice little town near Mannheim and Worms, I liked their market place. It is as most market places in Germany though this one is bigger having into account the size of the town. The streets were full of people even though it was a week day, there was people everywhere buying vegetables or fruit. I saw there the biggest cucumber I have ever seen in my life, I guess people there live from agriculture and from what they can sell of their production, although I also think maybe most of the people are retired so they also get money from the government. It is a nice town just to stop by and have a coffee, but nothing more. [more] |
