Geelong: Home Sweet Home
In the time I had been away, my parents had moved from their house in the suburbs, to a small, waterfront apartment. The upside of this was that they were now situated dead centre of Geelong, just a few minutes walk from several major attractions I had yet to see.
One of these was a traditional antique carousel that has been erected on the waterfront, pver a hundred years old. They charge just $3 per person (babies free), which I thought reasonable, and the ride lasts a couple of minutes. It is encased in glass walls so is completely visible day and night.
