Tallebudgera Creek - the best place for fishing, snorkeling and taking a walk right next to a national park
I love Tally Creek (as the locals call it, we have a habit of shortening everything) for a walk along the creek, swimming, lying in the shade of the mangrove trees and snorkeling. Lots of the locals go here to fish and there are lots of families. They can get a little annoying so do as my friends and I and go on the less popular side. Instead of going on the side of the car-park intended for the creek go to the opposite side and walk through the Burleigh Heads National Park and take a short cut through the trees down to the sand.
