Peaceful Hiroshima
Hiroshima is such a peaceful city compared to its war history. Certainly the atomic bomb marks are unforgettable – from the Peace Memorial to the exact place where the bomb was dropped, near the old municipality building. Hiroshima though is much more than that – it has an amazing avant-garde architecture in some sport at tall buildings. This mixes quite well with beautiful charming gardens hidden in corners of the city. Taxi drivers still use white gloves and uniforms at times - and people are very kind in general.
