Insider advice for your Inverness vacation

Exploring the north of Scotland 4 stars
Inverness is a city in highlands, in northern Scotland, surrounded by great attractions. In the city, the Inverness Castle and St. Andrew’s Cathedral are the most popular spots. I also would suggest a walk along the River Ness, from where you can have a wide notion of the city and its typical architecture. To the south-west, just few miles from Inverness, it is Loch Ness (and the famous resident Nessie!) and the ruins of Urquhart Castle. You can reach there by car, bus or even boat, a great (but very cold) option. Following to the east, the Culloden Moor and Visitor Centre is the scene of historic battle of 1746. There you can know a little more about the Britain history. Inverness is also a good option to stay overnight for who are exploring Scotland and offers a range of accommodation, including the popular bed and breakfast.

I Saw Something at Loch Ness! 5 stars

No… it wasn’t Nessie. The bus ride from Edinburgh to Inverness was long, Scotland in November is very cold, and I was sick as a dog, all of the ingredients for a miserable trip. On the contrary, it was an amazing trip! No picture can communicate just how majestic and breathtaking the Highlands of Scotland are, and then to arrive at a destination like Loch Ness! I could have cared less about the Loch Ness Monster. I think the monster is just an excuse for people to visit such a gorgeous location.
