Fishermen’s village – beachside cafe and restaurant away from the crowd
Dining right on the sand, by the beach, with the seabreeze caressing your face – you can only find this in the extreme Eastern part of Singapore. Fishermen’s village is a stretch of cafes/bars along Pasir Ris beach. It is one of the best kept secret of Singapore, being very popular only among the locals.
With the hustle and bustle of cosmopolitan Singapore, it’s hard to find a hideout to get away from the crowd. It is extremely quiet, tranquil and relaxing here in this cosy corner. Most of the cafes/restaurants serve a mixture of local and western food. The best part- it is one of the cheapest places in Singapore to enjoy a jug of beer! A jug of beer usually costs up to S$18 which is a pretty good offer in alcohol-expensive Singapore.
Shh..be sure to keep this secret to yourself!
