The Mt. Kenya Climbing Adventure
Apart from being a fan of bush excursions, I am also an ardent mountain climber. One of my favorite destinations for mountain climbing is Mt. Kenya. Although my friends and I never made it to the peak of the mountain, we still experienced fun that was interspersed with moments of anxiety and even frustration at times. In my view, Mt. Kenya is a tricky mountain to climb and some sections of the mountain are just too steep to be attempted without the aid of mountain climbing equipments. The farthest we got was the Lenana peak, which is the third highest point of the mountain and we are planning a return trip that will take us to the Batian peak, the highest peak of Mount Kenya.
