My Kansas overview
Kansas is right exactly in the middle of the continental United States and it’s considered by many east or west coast folk as “fly-over country.” And while it doesn’t have the cathedrals, skyscrapers, beaches or mountains like so many places visit, it is worth at least driving through instead of flying over. Kansas is thought of as a flat state without any geographical changes. But in the eastern third of the state, there are rolling hills. Like the Flint Hills in northeastern Kansas near Manhattan.
