Wyoming
I recently did a 7 day trip through Wyoming in the United States, and it was both pleasurable and informative as a trip with a busload of old people can be. Thank goodness we had a toilet on the bus, otherwise we would have had to stop every ten minutes. Or more.
Wyoming proved to be a part of America I would be glad to visit again (minus the old people and their weak bladders). It is very beautiful, with scenery to die for.
I started the trip in Jackson, which has a worthwhile Elk Refuge and wildlife museum, where I travelled by horse-drawn sleigh through a herd of massive deer. After arriving at Togwotee Pass, I was able to leave the oldies behind on a snowmobile through bear country. I really wanted to see a bear. Instead I just saw their tracks.
Of course, no trip is complete without a tour of Yellowstone National Park, and this is where we spent most of our time. Or course, the Old Faithful geyser just made my fellow passengers want to pee more, but I enjoyed it.
Wyoming, the Cowboy State of America, offers travellers a mix of adventure and scenery, and if you are lucky, you won't have to tour it with old people.
