Don’t Miss the Head Hunters’ Place in Sabah
The Monsopiad Cultural Village is not to be missed when you are in Kota Kinabalu, the capital of Sabah, Malaysian state in Borneo. It is cultural place built in 1996 in memory of Monsopiad, the Kadazandusun people’s great and legendary warrior. When I visited the Village, I could not help but imagine the days of head hunting and spirit worshipping at that time. The Bobohizan, a high priestess of the Kadazandusun people, ruled the villages by curing the sick and taking care of the spiritual well-being of the people.
