The Moqui Dugway

It is a great experience to drive the Moqui (also spelled Moki or Mokee) Dugway- either up or down or both sides, which I had to do as it was too spectacular to only drive up.
It is located on UT-261 in southeast Utah, south of Natural Bridges National Monument. The road consists of series of sharp switchbacks down a steep gravel road and is about 3 miles long. The roads leading to and from it are paved, the switchback road is not.
It is a thrill to drive the winding roads and especially great near sunset when the valley below is glowing in red and orange fiery colors.
