A Dragon's Tail
The Tail of the Dragon consists of 318 curves in an 11 mile stretch of two-lane twisting highway within the Tennessee/North Carolina borders. The curves of the Dragon have names like Hog Pen Bend, Wheelie Hell, Killboy Corner, Gravity Cavity, Beginner's End and Brake or Bust Bend. This is a biker’s haven, and everyone traveling the path will want to give just a little too much throttle on this road of temptation. However, be ware of police presence…they are out to ticket every possible biker crossing the yellow line.
